Likewise, we show that, although there was a frontal rejection of antihumanist notions, some Althusserian theses were incorporated into the theoretical discourse of the party in the struggle against other currents of contemporary thought.Este trabajo analiza la recepción de Louis Althusser por parte de intelectuales comunistas entre fines de los 1960 y mediados de los 1970. Al respecto, constatamos que el marxismo althusseriano fue captado tanto como un singular ejercicio de relectura de Marx como un tipo de trabajo teórico que sustentaba la crítica maoísta al comunismo oficial.
