Lefèbvre defines, then, Marxism and the dialectical thought as a sublation (Aufhebung) of philosophy, insofar as a process of realization of the philosophy itself, which it is grounded in the negativity of the relation between subject and object.Henri Lefèbvre, analisa aqui, a etiqueta do materialismo dialéctico em relação aos imperativos decorrentes do pensamento de Marx. Quer isto dizer que, Lefèbvre questiona a noção de materialismo dialéctico como um impasse da velha discussão entre materialismo e idealismo, com a finalidade de superar esta divisão através da noção de praxis. Lefèbvre define, então, o marxismo e o pensamento dialéctico como a superação (Aufhebung) da filosofia, enquanto processo de realização de si mesma, o qual se fundamenta na negação da relação entre o sujeito e o objecto.Henri Lefèbvre analiza aquí la etiqueta de materialismo dialéctico, en relación con los imperativos derivados del pensamiento de Marx. Es decir, Lefèbvre cuestiona la noción de materialismo dialéctico como un resabio de la vieja discusión entre materialismo e idealismo, con el fin de superar tal división a través de la noción de praxis.
