As a result of these dangers, parents decide to protect themselves in the exercise of their parental authority, intercede in the activity of their children in the networks, sometimes even using their passwords to know heir activity within. Does the legal system entitles, parents to interfere in their children’s private sphere?Desde el derecho romano a los progenitores se les confieren una serie de prerrogativas para garantizar el cuidado de sus descendientes, conocidas como patria potestad. En la actualidad, los nativos digitales desde su más temprana adolescencia utilizan las redes sociales para comunicarse, sin ser muchas veces conscientes de los peligros que pueden encontrarse en las mismas.
