El margen de victoria del resultado del «no» fue más amplio que lo que parecían anticipar los momentos finales de la campaña del referéndum, aunque no tanto como para sugerir que la cuestión del futuro de Escocia dentro del Reino Unido había sido decidido de una vez para siempre.
