Beyond any doubt, there is a growing need to advance in a specific regulation, which protects privacity and promotes a responsible access and use. This work goes in that research line, and presents some answers about how to protect teenagers in the so-called Internet 2.0.Las redes sociales son aplicaciones muy utilizadas por los menores de edad para hacer lo que más les gusta en Internet: comunicarse. Preferentemente las utilizan para estar en contacto con su grupo de amigos/as y compartir fotos, música y vivencias. En muchos casos ponen en riesgo evidente los derechos de su personalidad. Indudablemente hay que avanzar en una regulación específica que garantice una efectiva protección de la privacidad, centrada en el acceso y en su utilización responsable.
