Summary: In this work the institution of the family is collected from the point of view of Book III of the Code, the Munus Docendi, to highlight its evangelizing involvement, which is sensed as necessary in society today. Along with the duties and rewards of every Christian marriage, essential point of family support, and associated educational and transmission rights implications of faith, ad intra, the external projection of the evangelizing dimension has been studied even to the emergence of missionary families transmitting the faith from their own way of life as a families, in mission areas, fully engaged in the Church evangelization task called ad gentes. First, the concepts are defined, and the contexts and areas of the subject, through the codicial legislation, in order to discover a true family law in the ecclesiastical law. Instruments like family catechesis and necessary involvement with the parish, are also addressed as valuable by the law.
