Summary: Even though some sectors insist that there is no religious conflict in Colombia and that it is a laic state, the reality shows the opposite. Even though this conflict does not have a great impact, it is present in daily life and it eats at the hearts of Colombian people like a silently invasive cancer. The law reminds the state that it cannot be indifferent to the country�s religious leanings. Practical solutions must be advanced for making Colombia a state having an inter-religious culture which becomes an example for other countries.
