Summary: This paper shows a deep study about the relationship between the political cinema and Constitutional Law. It is the result of a meritorious Teaching and Research Master thesis, finished in Sergio Arboleda University at 2008. In this paper is explained the first chapter of that work with a documentary analysis of technical books about film and law. The research was done using four methods mainly: descriptive, comparative, analytical and deductive. This paper has allowed deducing that: 1) Legal education needs to seek new strategies for teaching skills training. 2) The film is an innovative resource in the study of practical issues. 3) The political cinema motivates to learn about the basics of constitutional law. 4) The political films from different countries allow contextualized critical reflection of the relationship between Power, State and Society.
