AB  - Nowadays, one of the most commonly used contracts for the carriage of goods by sea is the charterparty contract. The present article aims to identify and briefly analyze the effects that any kind of delays could have, either on the part of the shipowner or on the part of the charterer, in a time charterparty or a voyage charterparty.
