In a world with increasing economic, political and legal integration, the
question arises on the impact of this integration on the American continent.
One of the possible answers could be the emergence of a Latin-American
Constitutional Law. This new set of norms and standards would be built on
common public order principles from Human Rights Law. In this context, the
Inter-American Court of Human Rights would probably appear as a jurisdictional
body which carries out constitutional justice. This article undertakes
the task to identify common constitutional standards related to indigenous
peoples human rights. |
