The text argues that, even if different sectors of society have some strategic points of
agreement on the issue of land, which converge on the specific issue of restitution, they
strongly disagree on various other points. On one side are some who advocate �pure
restitution� and consequently support a restitution policy that focuses on correcting
the illegal dispossession and clarifying land titles and individual rights to property,
which would serve to boost the land market and allow for rural development policies
that modernize agricultural production, fundamentally based on large, corporate
ownership. On the other end of the spectrum are advocates of what we call �comprehensive
restitution,� who promote adopting a restitution policy that meets the
requirements not only of corrective justice but also of recognition and redistribution,
advancing the interest of peasant, indigenous, and afro-Colombian communities.

Por um lado, estão quem advogam por uma �restituição fina�, e respaldam então, uma política de restituição que se concentre em corrigir a ilegalidade do despojo e esclarecer os títulos e os direitos individuais sobre os bens, o qual serviria para dinamizar o mercado de terras e dar via livre a uma política de desenvolvimento rural que modernice a produção agrária, com base, essencialmente, na grande propriedade empresarial. Ao outro lado do espectro, se localizam os defensores do que podemos chamar uma �restituição grossa�, quem promovem a adoção de uma política de restituição que satisfaça os objetivos não só de justiça corretiva, senão ademais de reconhecimento e redistribuição a favor do campesinato e as comunidades étnicas.El texto sostiene que si bien existen algunos encuentros estratégicos en el tema de tierras en distintos sectores de la sociedad, los cuales confluyen en el tema específico de la restitución, también existen diametrales desacuerdos sobre el tema. Por un lado, están quienes abogan por una �restitución fina�, y respaldan entonces una política de restitución que se concentre en corregir la ilegalidad del despojo y aclarar los títulos y los derechos individuales sobre los bienes, lo cual serviría para dinamizar el mercado de tierras y dar vía libre a una política de desarrollo rural que modernice la producción agraria, con base, esencialmente, en la gran propiedad empresarial.
