Este artigo se ocupa destas sois instituições, hoje, mais que nunca, colimitados.Posesión y propiedad son dos caras diferentes de una misma moneda. Las dos tienen un mismo eje: el disfrute, principalmente económico, de un bien. En países como Colombia y Perú se han introducido importantes reformas cuyo principal efecto ha sido su acercamiento.
