AB  - This article tries to deal with two questions. The first wants to know what kind of
relationship exist between law and development. In that sense identifies how for some
theories that link is of interdependence or in some cases there is a dependence from
law and development respectively. The other question to solve, is the law a cause of
development? Around that question, there is a review of the literature about the empirical
and historical studies related with that subject.
