First, it attempts to clarify the question raised in several studies of land tenure as a ground for expulsion of civilians. Demonstrating this link is essential to evaluate and assess the impact of armed conflict in Colombia and their potential impact on areas and regions where mega projects are implemented in terms of displacement and dispossession of land is concerned. The displacement and armed conflict seem to have a close relationship with the land problem in Colombia, depopulate territory is a strategy of illegal armed groups to strengthen their territorial control and ownership of farms. Displacement is also more intense in departments with the highest concentration of land ownership as a result, landowners are driven with high frequency by illegal armed groups and, therefore, about 60 percent of displaced households, according to the Episcopal Conference, reported some form of land tenure. So is in areas where macro develop, energy, mining, certain infrastructure works in the field of transport routes and power generation. These works not only demand cheap labor, resources and geographical spaces and forms of territorial control or at least for security guarantees, but produce a different assessment of the territories and natural resources. In that environment, some sectors driving armed actions in order to appropriate land and stock and located in areas where the infrastructure works are under construction or will start. Thus, the capitalist economic model does not explain itself expressions of violence and armed conflict in particular, but the insertion of this model is controversial, creates conditions and requirements that lead to violence, draws on the conflict and characterized KW - Desplazamiento Forzado KW - Tenencia y concentración de la Tierra KW - Reforma y Contrarreforma Agraria KW - Política de Justicia y Paz KW - Conflicto Armado KW - Forced Displacement KW - Tenure and concentration of the Earth KW - and Counter-Agrarian Reform KW - Justice and Peace Policy KW - Armed Conflict ER -
