Summary: This paper discusses the wars of the United States of America. In order to obtain the required information, the author availed exclussively of documentary sources. Four methods were employed in this investigation: historical, to locate warfare promoted or encouraged by the usa, descriptive, to effectively narrate the facts, comparative, to search and explain the similarities and differences among the wars, and, as support, analytic-deductive, to peruse the bibliographic material. The three conclusions reached were Ballén Molina as follows: a) most American political and corporate leadership has been and continues to be imperialistic; b) política the American empire has exterted its power in many real and virtual wars, like the so-called Cold War; c) only in the Irak war, between 2003 and 2008, four thousand American soldiers died, at a total cost of three billion dollars for the same period.
