He presents the existence of at least four set of facts to prove it. The said facts are as follows. Firstly, the fact that on 1991, the Constitution makers knew the importance of the Universal Declaration, and used it to frame the Constitution´s bill of rights. Secondly, some statistics regarding the times in which the Declaration has been used by the Colombian Constitutional Court to decide cases, since 1992 until now days. Thirdly, a qualitative approach about the said uses of the Universal Declaration by the Colombian Constitutional Court, specially, the way that the Declaration has been used to perform an innovative concept of fundamental rights. And finally, the description of some constitutional law handbooks, regarding the way in which the authors of these books have dealt with the Universal Declaration and have explained the relationship between the said Declaration and the Colombian domestic law.
