AB  - This manuscript analyzes the international expansion of the Spanish franchise system and identifies the Spanish franchisor chains with highest international presence overseas. It also indicates the number of countries where Spanish franchisors are doing business as well as the total number of outlets they have established abroad. Subsequently, it is analyzed the findings obtained in this manuscript when identifying the 94 countries where Spanish franchisor have presence. Finally, the paper summarizes the main ideas of this work, and emphasizes its contributions (academic and practitioners), as well as the  limitations of the study by recommending avenues for further research.
