AB  - The purpose of this article is to analyse the presence of personal annotations found in the day-to-day accounts books of merchants and artisans in Valencia during the Late Middle Ages, and how these notes contribute to the study of the private lives of these people. These daily records, which range from the 15th to the 17th centuries, contain significant coincidences: the use of the daily accounts books lo include personal information; the topics covered - birth of children, political events, recipes, etc.; and lexical and grammatical resources
